Good choices?

Last July and the previous seasons marked a turning point in my life. Not until I had to go back through old photographs did I realize how profoundly certain events affected the choices I make. As an artist and a used to be teacher I find it helpful to be able to step back in order to see truth.
Once in a while, it is a good thing to look back even when you try to live in the moment of present experience.

I see from doing this there are obviously some points when I was on a roll and some points when I was ready to fall off the edge.

In case you wonder. . .I am thinking both were there at the same time.

This was last summer.

This is more than a year ago:

From looking at these pics I see two different times but the same sort of activity both include fiber, both include fiber bought from the same person. I was enthralled and enthused with activity and fully inspired. My life right now is revolving around the outdoors, trying to tame the wild, and deciding what to feed my very friendly deer. The woodpecker is back poking holes in my trees reminding me of how silly some things can be. . .your read all of the books and learn everything you can then like every living thing. . . you die.
What I hate about this virtual world is that anyone would close their blog and might not realize that they are missed. It is not the real world, I know.  I still have such a connection with my old blog. It is truly a record of what I did. . . when. This blog will serve no purpose if I do not blog, there are too many holes left to fill. Days turn into weeks before I decide it is time to deal with it.
I guess it is a good thing to embrace what it is.
Focus now that is a word!
I miss my friends, online. I imagine they are really really real.
