Part One of Anatomy

The Anatomy of a Bird

Part One

The tiny baskets are the beginning of the form for the birds I make.

The bottom is where it all begins.
As I go, I make decisions intuitively as to the shape it will take.

The linen thread I use to weave the tiny baskets is
waxed and is made in Ireland from
Crawford Threads Ltd.  I buy 50 gram, 4 cord, #18.
It is quite enough to make a few small items.
